The episode mainly was talking about this serial killer that got away because he corrupted the system, and he wanted revenge, because this woman, wrote a book saying that the serial killer was abused when he was younger, since the lack of truth on that accusation happened, he was mad, and he said that their parents where good, they didnt had anything to do with his mistakes.

So basically what i got portrayed is that the system, the police, the authorities lie, and make a lot of assumptions for the public to belive it, to catch their attention, and she admitted that she payed her neighborhood to actually letting her saying that.
